First-year math in Delaware

StartGlobal: $399, Delaware's fee included. The package: $399 plus $110, or $509. That's $110 more with us in year one, and the $99 agent renewal is the same afterward. Delaware's annual LLC tax ($400 for 2026) is separate from both.

Three differences worth knowing

Preparation of the bank application

StartGlobal guides you through an application. We fill it out ourselves from the details you gave at checkout, attach your Certificate of Formation, and have it complete when you sign your SS-4. It goes out on your approval, not on the IRS's schedule. Our partners decide each case, and approval isn't guaranteed.

A known IRS path

Your EIN is requested on Form SS-4 by fax, which we prepare for your e-signature. The IRS normally takes two to eight weeks.

Nothing else to buy

We don't sell annual report filing, tax returns, or a monthly plan. The package and the $99 agent renewal are the whole relationship.

When StartGlobal is the better fit

If the lowest total is your priority, StartGlobal gets you a Delaware LLC for $110 less. It's also the better choice if you want to add tax filing or bookkeeping with the same company later, or if you need a state other than Delaware.

Delaware basics for either choice

• LLCs in Delaware don't file annual reports; they pay a flat annual tax.
• That tax is $400 for 2026 and is due by June 1, whatever month you formed.
• Late payment adds $200 plus 1.5% a month.
• A registered agent with a Delaware office is required for as long as the LLC exists.

Outside our package

Delaware's annual tax and any federal returns, including Form 5472 for a foreign-owned single-member LLC, stay with you. We don't prepare them.

Why is StartGlobal cheaper if both are $399?

StartGlobal's $399 already includes state and government fees. Ours doesn't, so in Delaware you'd pay $509 with us and $399 with StartGlobal.

Do the renewals match?

For the registered agent, yes: $99 a year with each. StartGlobal also offers annual report filing at $299 a year and Managed LLC at $149 a month if you want them.

Can StartGlobal file my US taxes?

It offers federal tax filing and bookkeeping as paid add-ons, with prices based on revenue or volume. The Non-US Founder Package has no tax service.

What happens after I sign my SS-4 with you?

Your application for our partners is ready right then, built from your order with your formation certificate attached. You approve it and we send it. The IRS works on your EIN separately, and our partners decide on the account.

How long does the EIN take?

Usually two to eight weeks once the IRS receives the faxed SS-4, with no expedited option for owners who lack an SSN. StartGlobal's site doesn't give a timeline.
